Now more than ever members need to be involved in the endorsement and election process of pro-labor candidates.  Often times these candidates are responsible for making decisions on wages, benefits, and working conditions.  With member involvement at the ground level, these candidates are able to see the importance of an organized and highly trained workforce.

The most important thing that a union member can do is vote! The 2nd most important thing would be to contact your local and State government officials on key labor issues.
